"There is an extraordinary love story in every ordinary jodi." An endearing and sweet movie about a simple and shy middle-class man working for Punjab Power, Surinder Sahni (Shah Rukh Khan) or Suri-ji, as fondly called by his friends and wife, who leads a mundane and boring life but occasionally transforms himself into the loud and flirty dance-partner 'Raj' to win the love of his vivacious and fun-loving wife, Taani (Anushka Sharma). The storyline may have been absurd and unrealistic but its lilting music, Taani's dance moves and simple, goofy Suriji make this movie unforgettable.

Whenever the humble Suriji appears on screen, it puts a smile across your face. And every time he says "Punjab Power, lighting up your life ji", your heart just goes out to him.

Debutante Anushka Sharma's acting was pretty good and her dancing skills even better. Playing the role of a simple, middle class Punjabi housewife, Anushka dons vibrant and colorful Patiala suits. Pair Patiala salwars with simple and very short kurtas featuring resham embroidered pattern along with beautiful Dupattas to emulate Taani's clean and simple look. A collection of attractive multihued resham embroidered Dupattas is what you need for an ideal 'Taani' look.

When it comes to accessories, keep it simple and minimal with few colored bangles and ear studs, maybe pearl studs. You wouldn't require any fancy hairstyles, just plain straight hair maybe with subtle wavy curls towards the end.

A pair of mojris and you have transformed yourself into the simple, fun loving Taani.
