A peek into the community life in the crowded galis of Old Delhi, Delhi 6 successfully portrays the true Indian temperament coupled with its idiosyncrasies. A semi-autobiographical movie, it's all about how a young NRI, Roshan (Abhishek Bachchan), who accompanies his ailing grandmother to Delhi, discovers the bizarre and quirky realities of India and its people. Although this movie received mixed reviews, A.R.Rahman's breezy and blithe music was highly appreciated.
One of the noteworthy features about this movie is Bittu (Sonam Kapoor) and her outfits. Vibrant cotton Salwar suits with ethnic prints and striking colors made Sonam Kapoor look her part - typical middle-class Delhiite. Unlike few style trends in movies, the outfits in Delhi 6 have a mass appeal as they are affordable, comfortable, pretty and qualifies as practical clothing.

For a 'Delhi 6-inspired' look, the prime requirement would be printed cotton Salwar suits. Kameez with full sleeves featuring yokes or bib yokes would be perfect. Alternatively, Sonam is also spotted wearing Anarkali style paneled and flared short kameez with vibrant floral prints. Such a silhouette would flatter women blessed with good height and with lean body type. Accessorize the outfit with oxidized silver jewelry, or black metal jewelry for a cheaper option.

A long braid accompanied by flattering side swept bangs for you to flip around and you have successfully achieved the 'Delhi 6' or 'Bittu' look.
